KnowTox is a mobile app that helps you understand what's in your products. Simply scan a barcode and get instant insights about ingredients and how they might affect you based on your personal preferences. KnowTox analyzes food products, cosmetics (skincare, haircare), and dietary supplements.

Open the app and tap the scan button on the home screen. Point your camera at the product's barcode. The app will automatically detect and analyze the product, showing you detailed information about its ingredients.

KnowTox supports three product categories: Food (nutritional analysis, additives, allergens), Cosmetics (skincare and haircare ingredient safety, skin type compatibility), and Supplements (active ingredients, dosage, drug interactions).

For food products: ingredients, allergens, additives (E-numbers), nutritional information, NOVA score, and diet compatibility. For cosmetics: ingredient safety, skin type suitability, and certifications (vegan, cruelty-free, etc.). For supplements: active ingredients, recommended dosage, contraindications, and potential drug interactions.

Go to Profile > Preferences. You can configure multiple preference categories: Food (allergies, diets, religious restrictions, nutritional goals), Cosmetics (skin type, skin conditions, hair type, ingredient preferences like paraben-free or fragrance-free), Supplements (health goals, preferred forms, current medications for interaction detection), and Personal data (for personalized nutritional recommendations).

Yes! KnowTox supports multiple languages including English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Japanese, and Korean. Go to your device settings to change the app language.

When viewing a product, tap the bookmark icon to save it to your favorites. Access your saved products anytime from the Bookmarks tab in the app.

Go to Profile > History to see all products you've scanned. You can tap any product to view its full details again.

Go to Profile > Delete Account. This will permanently delete your account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.

KnowTox offers a free tier with limited daily scans, and a Premium plan with unlimited scans, detailed ingredient analysis, and personalized recommendations. Visit Profile > Subscription to see current pricing and features.

Your subscription is managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Go to your device's subscription settings to modify, cancel, or renew your subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android). Please contact them directly through your device's app store for refund requests.

Make sure you've granted camera permissions to KnowTox. Ensure good lighting and hold your phone steady. If problems persist, try restarting the app or updating to the latest version.

KnowTox uses multiple databases, but some products may not be available yet. We're constantly expanding our coverage. Try scanning the product again or check that the barcode is clearly visible.

Try closing and reopening the app. Make sure you have the latest version installed. If issues persist, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app, or contact our support team.
